The School Day
At West Kowloon children spend time in the classrooms and in our large indoor shared play space.
During learning time, children usually have the opportunity to participate in a range of different play activities designed to develop their understanding and skills. Our teaching uses an inquiry methodology, where children are supported to ask questions, make predictions, solve problems, and find answers for themselves.
During the day children may participate in:
- Whole class circle times, songs and stories
- Small group projects and activities
- Individual or group free child initiated play activities
- Individual conferencing or learning with a teacher
