At West Kowloon Kindergarten, we are dedicated to promoting sustainability and minimising our environmental impact. Teaching children to respect and care for the environment is integral to our mission. Activities such as composting, recycling, and nurturing plants and animals are key components of our curriculum, alongside various charity initiatives like Box of Hope and Community Chest drives.
Whenever possible, we prioritise the use of environmentally friendly materials and strive to minimise consumption by reusing resources throughout the kindergarten.
We encourage our parent community to support our sustainability efforts by reducing unnecessary waste. This includes limiting the use of single-use plastic bags, minimising party and goody bags, and participating in our pre-loved uniform sale. Together, we can foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
